BLAST is designed to be fully inclusive and accessible to all children within the setting. BLAST for Additional Needs explains how you can modify and differentiate the programme for children with a range of additional needs.
BENEFICIAL
BLAST has been proven to support the development of speech, language and communication in foundation stage children. It is linked to the curriculum and is viewed as good practice in developing listening and speaking skills.
COMPLETE
Everything you need to deliver BLAST is in the box – all of the planning, the resources and the photocopiable materials. All you need is a group of children, a CD player (for BLAST 1) and a trained BLAST leader!

What is BLAST?
BLAST 1 is designed for all children in nursery aged from 3-4
BLAST 2 is designed for all children in reception aged from 4-5
There are 30 consecutive sessions fully planned and resourced to deliver to a group of 4-8 children.
